Training
Ease of communication should be a paramount consideration when choosing a website developer. Your designer should be able to provide with not only the information you need to make choices, but also follow up with appropriate training so that you will be able to utilize your website and internet marketing to it's full potential.
There are many approaches I use for training. I find it effective to provide detailed written instructions, including screen shots, to guide you through a process such as incorporating SEO into your blog or adding new products to your e-commerce site. I then meet with my client, or their employee, to practice the process. Lastly, it is important that my clients contact me if any questions arise. The internet is constantly changing and the steps for a certain process will change over time. I am always available to help my clients adapt to these changes.
