This logo for Lakeside Pet Hospital was developed when creating their website. I inherited the images of the three animals from their previous artwork. I chose to add some interest and depth of field by having the cat darker, the dog lighter and the bird the lightest. This creates a sense of the animals moving in three dimensions.

I wanted the logotype to be as playful as the animals. My intention was to create a comfortable, safe, controlled, almost soothing look. This intention flows through to the website I designed as well:
