St. Teresa of Avila is a quaint country church located atop a hill in Bodega Bay. It's well known for having appeared in Alfred Hitchcock's thriller The Birds.

I was given the opportunity to design a website in hopes of attracting more people to book weddings at this lovely church. (See the Virtual Tour I created for the St. Teresa’s)

I am not sure that many Catholic churces have logos. This one didn't. I love a challenge and I love the distinct look of this amazing church propped upon a hill, so I created this logo.

I think the final logo is pleasantly attractive and a very good representation of the church itself. Although I thought about adding a few birds flying by in the sky... I thought better of it. Not many brides want to associate their wedding day with the events in Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds!
