Redwood Empire Veterinary Medical Association (REVMA) is a professional organization. Their previous logo (and website) was less than current and more complicated than need be. They wanted a contemporary, sophisticated look. They are a group of people, not animals, so they didn't want their logo to look like a vets logo. Rather, they wanted an assocations logo.

I believe this design fulfills their request.
